At Leading Property Agents of Spain (LPA), we are pleased to announce that our association has formally surpassed the figure of 100 member real estate agencies. This growth constitutes not only a numerical achievement, but represents the validation of a model necessary for the sustainability and prestige of the real estate market on the Costa del Sol.
The need for demanding self-regulation
The real estate market of Marbella and its area of influence —from Sotogrande to Málaga— is one of the most dynamic and cosmopolitan in Europe. However, we face a challenging structural reality: the non-existence of official entry barriers to practice the profession. The lack of strict governmental regulation allows actors without due technical qualification or ethical backing to operate in the market, which can lead to situations of legal and operational insecurity.
Given this scenario, the LPA assumes the responsibility of establishing a standard of quality and professionalism. Surpassing 100 members means that a substantial and representative part of the sector has decided, voluntarily, to submit to a strict code of ethics. Our objective is clear: to guarantee that real estate intermediation is governed by transparency, legal security, and technical knowledge.
From the founding vision to the current expansion
The trajectory of the LPA is a testament to the maturity of the sector. Founded in Marbella in 2020, the association was born thanks to the vision of 11 founding members and the leadership of José Carlos León, founder and CEO of Nvoga Marbella Realty, who served as the initial driving force behind this corporate project.
Today, under the presidency of Álvaro Botella, the organization has not only increased its membership base, but has also strengthened its institutional structure. This expansion is fundamental to fulfill our corporate purpose: to encourage a transparent, cooperative, and customer service-oriented sector in this key regional market.
Collaboration as a pillar of excellence
In a highly competitive environment, the LPA promotes a model of loyal and regulated collaboration. The incorporation of more than 100 agencies allows for the creation of a secure working network, where cooperation between professionals translates into a more efficient and guaranteed service for the end client.
To achieve this, we combine traditional values of ethics and personal attention with the implementation of state-of-the-art technology and shared tools. We understand that the only way to raise the level of professional service is through continuous training and rigorous compliance with best practices.
Commitment to the future
With Marbella as the epicenter of our activity, the LPA reaffirms its commitment to continue raising the standards of technical knowledge and operational practice on the Costa del Sol.
We thank each of the associated agencies for their commitment to excellence. Together, we constitute the guarantee of a robust, regulated, and professional real estate sector.
